Welcome to Towards a Sustainable USA!
This blog is intended to create a dialouge and action in creating a more sustainable nation especially in light of environmental and economic instability.
Some topics of inquiry include local food systems, local politics, energy alternatives and efficiency, alternative transportation.
As we need not reinvent the wheel, I encourage you to post efforts already going on in your neck of the woods. (Of course advice outside of the States is more than welcome!) My hopes are that people use helpful ideas and efforts already in place in their cities and towns. Help make your neighborhood the barometer of Sustainability!
